We invest in enterprises that address the problems of access and efficiency in business ecosystems that have positive social or environmental impact. We seek to utilize our understanding of early stage enterprises that operate in this sphere and bring our capital and expertise to improving the outreach and viability of their businesses.

What We Do
Since 2004, we have invested equity and debt capital into high quality enterprises in India, with the intent to generate social and/or environmental impact alongside a competitive financial return. Starting out in financial inclusion, we have incrementally diversified into other sectors, building expertise and networks steadily over time.
As one of the early entrants and leaders in the impact investing space in India, we are also one of the few fund managers with a proven exit track record. We are currently investing from our fifth fund, along side direct investments from our balance sheet.
We look for companies led by high quality entrepreneurs and with innovative business models that combine financial return with a non-financial return in the way in which they address critical problems in our focus sectors. We hold ourselves, as well as our portfolio companies, to high standards of governance, transparency and ethics.

At present, we manage over INR 500 Crores in AUM.
Founder's Note
We spent the first decade of our existence, starting in 2004, as an equity investor focused on financial inclusion.. The shared objective of the various stakeholders at the time was to make credit, and a broader range of financial services, accessible to the millions of unbanked households across the country, providing them with opportunities to improve their lives and livelihoods. The scale and sustainability of the institutions that emerged was impressive, aided by a highly responsive ecosystem. As an early investor, willing to balance financial and non-financial returns, we were successful in the quality of the institutions we helped build and the level of outreach they achieved.
This experience taught us invaluable lessons, motivating us to explore sectors beyond financial services. We leverage these insights to invest in companies and entrepreneurs where the desired social and/or environmental outcomes, are integral to, or embedded within, the business model. ​
